History of Ciholas
Ciholas, Inc. is a custom engineering and invention firm based in Newburgh, Indiana. The company began in 1992 when Mike Ciholas started a one-man consulting, design, and invention firm from his basement. As Mike's client list expanded, he hired employees and grew the company. Today, Ciholas has over 40 employees serving hundreds of global clients from a custom-built 35,000-square-foot building in Newburgh. Mike designed the building to be productive, energy efficient, and an asset to the innovative work we do here.
We've worked on numerous exciting projects over the years. Ciholas-engineered projects include Olympic timing equipment, bomb disposal robots in the Middle East, Real Time Location Systems covering millions of square feet, and scientific instruments in space. What motivates us every day is working with clients to find creative solutions to difficult problems!
